1. About us and these terms

2. Eligibility and age

You must be 18 or older to place an order. Anyone aged 13–17 may only order with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. Our store is not intended for children under 13.

3. Products

We sell shelf-stable, alcohol-free gourmet grazing and gift boxes and non-food serving accessories. Product images are illustrative. Boxes are pre-composed selections; individual items may be substituted with an equivalent of the same value due to season or stock. By ordering you accept that reasonable equivalent substitutions may occur.

4. Food safety, allergens and best-before dates

Each box lists its allergens (which may include gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, soya, sesame, mustard, egg and sulphites) and best-before guidance. The physical pack labels are authoritative. If you or a recipient has a severe allergy, check the box page and pack labels before consuming. Boxes are ambient/shelf-stable; store cool and dry and follow pack labels after opening. Some items (for example cured products) should be refrigerated once opened.

5. No alcohol and no health claims

Our range contains no alcohol. We make no health, medical, nutritional-treatment, weight-loss or therapeutic claims. Our products are ordinary food and non-food accessories, not supplements or medical products.

6. Orders, pricing and payment

All prices are shown in USD. An order is accepted when we confirm it. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never receive your full card details. Your card statement will show the descriptor MCALLISTER LARDER. We may cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable or if we identify a pricing error.

7. Larder Club membership

Larder Club is a recurring subscription billed in USD monthly or yearly via Stripe. Each month's box is that period's benefit and does not roll over if unclaimed. You can skip, pause or cancel anytime in the Customer Portal; cancellation stops future renewals while the current paid period remains active. Shipped months are not refundable.

8. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

9. Cancellations, refunds and returns

Refunds and returns are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Because these are food products, opened or non-faulty consumable items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, except where required by law.

10. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Your use of the site is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Site content is owned by us or our licensors and is provided under our Content License.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting your mandatory local consumer rights.
